Day 1 | Welcome to Mexico City
Upon your arrival at your hotel, we recommend taking a stroll through the historic streets of Mexico City.
Day 2 | Enjoy the chinampas in Xochimilco and visit the Blue House
You will explore the canals of Xochimilco aboard a "chinampa," allowing you to enjoy a unique landscape and discover various animal and plant species thriving in Xochimilco. Your next visit will bring you joy as you get to know the Blue House, better known as Frida Kahlo's house. The Mexican painter left behind photographs and paintings there, offering a glimpse into her everyday life. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional dinner in Coyoacán at Los Danzantes, a restaurant with ancient Mexican culinary traditions that will surprise you with its flavors.
Day 3 | Get to know the neighborhood of San Ángel and visit to the Anahuacalli Museum
Today you will experience approximately 5hrs in San Angel and the Anahuacalli Museum. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel to take you to your first stop; the San Angel area, where you will discover a small square full of art galleries exhibiting the talent of different urban artists. You will observe the works on display, which reflect the diversity and creativity of the local art scene. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Ex-Conventos del Carmen and San Jacinto, where you will be given an explanation of their history. As you tour San Angel, you will enjoy a variety of dining options. From cafes to upscale restaurants offering Mexican and international cuisine. To continue this adventure, you will head to the Diego Rivera Anahuacalli Museum, an architectural gem. Here, you will witness a permanent collection of pre-Hispanic art representing the diverse cultures that flourished in Mesoamerica and were collected by Diego Rivera throughout his life. You will have the opportunity to observe the architecture, design and construction in volcanic stone, which evokes the energy of the ancient pre-Hispanic houses known as teocallis. At the end of the tour, transportation will take you back to your hotel.
Day 4 | Lucha Libre Experience, Mezcal Tasting & A Walk among Murals: Exploring the History and Legacy of Mexican Muralists
To begin, you will visit a traditional Mexican cantina and taste artisanal mezcal. During a walk through Arena México, you'll learn about the history of "El Santo" and "Blue Demon," important stars in the history of lucha libre. Afterward, you'll attend a night of lucha libre, a dramatic battle that you will thoroughly enjoy. You will also take a historical tour through the murals at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, where you will see works by Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, and David Alfaro Siqueiros, three giants of muralism.
Day 5 | Depart Mexico City
Your driver will take you to the airport, where you will board your flight home or to your next destination.
