You will walk from Nevado de Toluca to Corral de Piedra. The trail is 24km long, and you will walk through oyamel forests, a refuge and the Monarch Butterfly’s wintering area, which can be admired from December to February.
During the tour you will learn about the habitat of high mountain flora and fauna species such as the red-tailed warbler, the red-tailed eagle, fly swatter mushrooms, and the spiny lizard, among others. On the way, km 13, we stop for lunch at a magnificent viewpoint.
This trip is ideal to connect with nature, as you will enjoy an epic mountain tour, learn about local plants and their properties while you go deep into the forest and observe amazing landscapes.
