Day 4 | Valladolid to Tulum
Discover the beauty of Punta Laguna on a tour of this vast 5,500-hectare reserve managed by a Mayan cooperative. Accompanied by a guide, seek out the charming spider monkeys and howler monkeys in the dense jungle. Be mesmerized by their characteristic cries as you take a short canoe ride across the extensive lagoon, immersing yourself in the lush and exotic nature of the reserve.
Day 5 | Float in the Muyil Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve
Begin your day with early transportation to the Muyil community center. After a light snack, join a group of travelers and head to the mysterious archaeological site of Muyil. Follow an interpretive trail through the jungle to reach the Chunyaxché lagoon with its stunning turquoise hues. Board a small boat to cross clear waters surrounded by mangroves, arriving at a tranquil dock. Enjoy a serene river float before concluding the excursion. Your transportation will then return you to Cancún.
Day 6 | Snorkel with sea turtles in Akumal
Explore Akumal, a picturesque Caribbean Sea community known as the “Place of the Turtles” in Mayan. Kept secret until 1958, Akumal thrives with the Akumal Ecological Center, dedicated to the research of marine species and coral reefs. Enjoy the opportunity to snorkel alongside these fascinating creatures in Akumal's crystal-clear waters.
Day 7 | Tulum to Cancún, Departure
In the morning, take time to relax, and at the scheduled time, you'll take your rental car to Cancún Airport, where your local hostess will be waiting to assist you with returning the car.
