Day 1 | Arrive at La Paz
You can explore the wildlife of a UNESCO World Heritage Site on a snorkeling tour of Espíritu Santo Island. You may observe sea lions, seagulls, sardines, snappers, and many more fish living in the coral reef. As an optional activity, you can also experience snorkeling in Cabo Pulmo National Park.
Day 2 | Adventure day at Espíritu Santo Island
You will visit one of the most representative places of Baja California, the Espíritu Santo Island, which is part of a chain of rocky islands that extend southward along the western edge of the Gulf of California. You will learn about the history of the 'Pearl Islands,' as named by Hernán Cortés upon his arrival at this destination. Here, you will be able to appreciate different local fauna such as birds, turtles, and with a little luck, sea lions and dolphins.
Day 3 | Discover the El Camarón Trail
Your local guide will take you to explore the El Camarón Route, which is an UMA (Environmental Management Unit) belonging to the Sierra de la Giganta. Located north of La Paz, just off the coast of Espíritu Santo Island, the magic of this place lies in its oasis filled with palm trees nestled in the creek, with hills sculpted by wind and water erosion.
Day 4 | Slide into the adventure of the Mogote dunes
Enjoy a beautiful view of the sea while you slide down the Mogote Dunes, just 30 minutes away from the city of La Paz. Here, you can experience all the fun and adrenaline of sandboarding, and appreciate various species of flora and fauna, from black and red mangroves to marine species such as whale sharks.
Day 5 | Day-trip in Balandra and San Rafaelito
You will start your shared experience departing on a boat from the dock of the city of La Paz towards the Balandra Beaches just twenty-five minutes north of the city. You will visit a small colony of sea lions called San Rafaelito where you can snorkel and hopefully swim very close to a sea lion.
Day 6 | Free day on Los Barriles and Punta Arena Beaches
Enjoy a Free day today and at night, drive to Cabo Pulmo, your next destination.
Recommendations: Los Barriles is an excellent beach for kitesurfing and windsurfing. If water sports are not your thing, you can sit and watch the kitesurfers pirouette and enjoy the sun and the beach. There is very good snorkeling at the beach, so it's worth bringing a snorkel. Punta Arena is a very nice public beach where you can camp freely. It is wild camping, there are no amenities, but the view is worth it.
Day 7 | Private snorkeling experience in Cabo Pulmo
You will experience a snorkeling activity in Cabo Pulmo National Park. Here, you will find the only reefs in the Gulf of California and Sea of Cortez, as well as a great diversity of species, which makes this site a unique paradise for snorkelers and divers. You will board a boat to begin your tour, where you will learn about marine life and the importance of ecosystem conservation.
Day 8 | Free day on Cabo San Lucas
Enjoy a free day to explore the wonders of Cabo San Lucas at your own pace. Relax on its beautiful beaches, check out the marina, or stroll through the downtown area filled with shops, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. Make the most of this opportunity to experience the city your way.
Day 9 | Discover the Charm of San José del Cabo
San José del Cabo is a charming, peaceful town in Baja California Sur, known for its stunning beaches along the Sea of Cortez. Explore the traditional "La Playita" community, once a fishing village now undergoing development with a new marina. Wander the tranquil downtown, enjoy local art and music, and admire the historic mission. Don’t miss the chance to taste tequila, Mexico’s iconic drink (optional). End the day with a luxurious dinner at Restaurant "El Herradero," where you’ll experience the warmth and hospitality of the staff.
Day 10 | Goodbye Baja
You will have a free day to enjoy the beaches in Cabo San Lucas and take in the views, followed by a transfer to La Paz airport.
