Day 2 | Journey Through Ancient Ruins, Sacred Cenotes, and Yucatán Flavors in a Mayan Community
Your guide will take you to explore the archaeological site of Ek Balam. Then, you'll visit the Xcanahaltun Cenote, which allowed the ancient Maya to stock up on water as they developed and settled in the surroundings of the Dzalbay village. After the adventure, you will participate in a Yucatecan gastronomy workshop led by a Mayan family, which includes hands-on experience in the preparation of tortillas and a traditional dish from the region.
