Your English-speaking guide will pick you up to visit the southern area of Mexico City. Your first stop will be one of the most emblematic areas of the capital: the canals of Xochimilco, a word that in Nahuatl means Field of Flowers and that are the last memory of the rivers that crossed the valley of the ancient Tenochtitlan. You will board a traditional trajinera, a colorfully painted wooden boat, and while you sail you will learn about the history of the place, its famous chinampas or floating gardens and the famous ajolotes. You will continue your day in the bohemian neighborhood of Coyoacán, one of the most picturesque in the city and characterized by its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. During your walk you will see churches, squares and beautiful gardens. We suggest you taste the typical desserts of the neighborhood, such as the delicious churros and ice cream.
