On this weekend in Capulalpam you will start the day early with a delicious breakfast. At 9:00 hrs begins the tiger hike taking the old road to the corner where you will contemplate the area where the quarry that was used in the construction of the temple of San Mateo was extracted. Be amazed by the still existing vestiges of the old water conduction channel in the 1940’s and head towards Letza to find the reforestation area of the drill holes.

We continue on the trail until we reach Rancho Tigre, a place of agricultural activity until the 1970s. Here it descends to find the old water channel and then returns to the area of cabins.

The route is through pine, bromeliad and oak forests, on trails that for a long time were an obligatory passage for the people of the community. We arrive at an altitude of 2,700 meters above sea level, so we recommend you hydrate constantly and support you with your guide for whatever you need.

On the way back you will have a delicious lunch in the community and you will have the afternoon free to explore and meet the locals. Return at 8:00 pm to have your appetizing dinner.

With Rutopia you can spend a weekend in Capulalpam! Request your trip now and we will design a unique a smooth trip for you and your family.
