Teotihuacan archaeological zone is an immense place, full of nooks and crannies to explore. When you arrive to the archaeological zone, you will walk on the well known “Calzada de los Muertos”, (which is the main avenue on which the tour takes place), and then climb up to the great Pyramid of the Sun, from there you will have a wonderful view, and you can perform one of the most famous rituals when you are at the top: extend your arms to the sky, close your eyes and relax while receiving the energy of the Sun.
The next stop will be the Pyramid of the Moon, from which you will get a splendid view of the entire Teotihuacan Center, so it will be the perfect place to capture this great scenery through your camera. You can go to the temple of Quetzalcoatl where the best preserved vestiges are located, and learn how obsidian crafts are made in one of the workshops where they work with obsidian. In addition, you will have the opportunity to see the areas where the inhabitants of this place lived, and imagine through the paintings how they lived.
When lunch time arrives, you will have a variety of options to choose from: both in the local restaurants and in restaurants where they offer typical food of the region. In some of them, you can even watch presentations of pre-Hispanic dances, mariachis or regional music.
