Until 50 years ago, the Lacandon Maya were a nomadic tribe living in the deep Lacandon jungle of Chiapas, in this workshop you will learn about that time and how they used arrows and bows entirely made by them to hunt and feed their families. During this hour you will learn how to turn a dry cane into a fully functional arrow that is light and has great balance to fly in the air. You will feather the top, add the tip made with different stones and finally tie it together to have your very own arrow. Once you have finished building it, you will have the opportunity to test it and demonstrate your archery skills. Enjoy this experience at Lacandon Jungle!

With Rutopia you can live this experience! Request your trip now and we will design a unique and hassle free trip for you and your family.
