Archaeological Zone

Tulum is home to one of the most important archeological sites in the state of Quintana Roo, making it one of the best-preserved.

This ancient city was a center of worship for the “descending God” of the Mayas, and each wall of this precinct symbolizes the elements: earth, air, water, and fire.

The site stands out for its majestic view of the sea as it is located on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
