Let’s continue with the official documents requested for entry into Mexican territory. If you are an adult, they will ask you for a valid official identification with an original physical photograph (no copies or digital) as well as: Valid passport, current residence, or some other official identification.

If you plan to travel with minors, you must present the following options in original and physical (no copies or digital): Birth certificate and valid passport. In the case of babies seven days old, the original and physical birth certificate is accepted.

Do you need a visa to visit Mexico?

Finally, but not least, travelers will need the Multiple Migration Form (FMM), a migration document that shows the authorized days to stay in Mexican territory (maximum 180 days).
