The workshop takes place in a Zapotec community in the Valley of Oaxaca, in the home of a family that will welcome you with open arms to teach you all their secrets.
A “comidera”, this title is given to the ladies in charge who will guide you through the whole process; it is the name given to the ladies who are in charge of preparing the banquets for the festivities of the communities.
You will have the opportunity to prepare in about 4 hours, 3 dishes of the following options: nicuátole tortillas, sauces, empanadas, sopa de guías, cuitlacoche, sopa de nopal, segueza, higadito, atole and other options according to the season. When the dishes are ready, you can sit down to taste your creations.
