Tziscao is a community located within the Lagos de Montebello National Park. You will get to know about this special place guided by our family that descends from the Chuj ethnic group. Neri will accompany you to pick organic coffee of the highest quality, go deep into the foggy forest to know the flora and fauna of the place, and to walk far away from any tourist route. Our family created an agro-ecological center where you can collaborate in the environmental conservation of the place and learn techniques to create your own organic garden.

Your Host

In the Morales family we are descendants of the Chuj ethnic group, for generations we have been inhabitants of Tziscao. Don Isidoro and his children: Roselin, Rolando and I, Neri, have been working on environmental conservation for years and to keep the Chuj culture alive through our organization “Lagos de Colores”. Together, we have worked in growing organic coffee with export quality. We open the doors of our rustic cabin next to the lake to receive travelers who want to see this paradise.
