Things to do in Merida:  is located in the northwestern part of Yucatán and is the capital of the state. The main areas of interest for visitors are usually the Centro Histórico and Paseo Montejo. Here, you will find the traditional “barrios” and markets, grandiose homes, several museums, and historical monuments, which make them ideal for exploring in the morning and afternoon. I suggest you visit the spectacular Paseo de Montejo, one of the most iconic places in the city where you will find many hotels, cafés, and restaurants that line the streets, it’s known as the “Champs Elysées” of Merida or Santa Lucía one of the Centro Histórico’s favorite areas, but it also has a past that’s full of history because it´s one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. Here are some of the things to do in Mérida.
